Flu and Pneumonia Shots
Time to get your flu and pneumonia shot. Shots will be given first come, first
served from 9am to 12noon at Des Moines Activity Center. Visiting Nurse
Services will bill your Medicare Part B or Secure Horizons insurance.
Secure Horizons will not pay for pneumonia shots. No Medicaid coupons
are accepted. If you belong to Group Health you must pay for the shots or
have your shot at a Group Health Clinic. Flu shots are $30 and Pneumonia
shots are $40. Please be sure to bring your insurance paperwork or your
insurance/Medicare card with you. Program is subject to availability of flu
vaccine serum.

Fire Extinguisher Training- FREE
Would you know how to use a fire extinguisher if
you were faced with a fire right now? Learn how to
properly use a fire extinguisher in a class taught by
the fire department. Course is open to participants
over the age of 14.
