people are generally at the same risk of being
victimized, the key is preparation. To assist
you in making yourself safe, the Des Moines
Police Department will be holding monthly
safety seminars at the Des Moines Activity
Center.
Everyone needs to take precautions no matter
who they are, what they are doing or what
limitations they may face.
Please join us on the 1st Wednesday of each
month at 11:00am when we come together to
explore ways to keep you safe!

Come celebrate our 50th Birthday with a 2.5 mile run/walk through the City of Des Moines along the parade route right before the the 50th Birthday Parade. The event will start at Highline Community College where the parade starts and the race will end on Marine View Dr. in front of the QFC grocery store. Come participate in this fun event.
