Located in a beautiful setting of the Des Moines Marina with stunning views of Puget Sound
and the Olympic Mountains, the market serves as a community gathering place for people
in the south Seattle area to meet up with their neighbors and interact with local
family farmers. The market will feature about thirty vendors with a bounty of farm
fresh vegetables, fruits, and baked goods, as well as cut flowers and unique local crafts.

Oktoberfest Dinner, Dance & Auction was a huge success last year with over
250 community members coming together to support the success of Highline Public
Schools, raising close to $25,000. Everyone had a great time bidding on their favorite
silent and live auction items, singing along with the yodeler, enjoying a traditional brats
dinner served by the wonderful folks from Fernwood at the Park, and dancing the night
away to great music provided by Foremost DJ. All in all, it was a fun evening enjoyed
for a great cause!
