Oktoberfest Dinner, Dance & Auction was a huge success last year with over
250 community members coming together to support the success of Highline Public
Schools, raising close to $25,000. Everyone had a great time bidding on their favorite
silent and live auction items, singing along with the yodeler, enjoying a traditional brats
dinner served by the wonderful folks from Fernwood at the Park, and dancing the night
away to great music provided by Foremost DJ. All in all, it was a fun evening enjoyed
for a great cause!

Ghouls, Ghosts, Goblins and More...

Thanks to the community, our Haunted Castle 2009 was a great success! We had over 1,000 visitors come calling to trek through the Haunted Castle in search of George, our resident ghost. Everyone rode the elevator to the 5th floor, and made their way back to the lobby on our long, dark, winding ramp. There were plenty of spooky sights and hidden surprises to explore. For kids of all ages, there was our festive carnival room, with fun activities, games, and treats for all.

100% of the proceeds from the event will go towards the programs of the Des Moines Area Food Bank.
